Fastest DNA Sequencing Technique in the World
In collaboration with Roche Sequencing Solutions and Boston Children’s Hospital, we achieved the fastest DNA sequencing technique to date: completed sequencing and analysis in under 4 hours. This project was driven by our commitment to translate technological innovations into better patient care. It focused on urgent pediatric cases, providing clinically interpreted reports with the rapid turnaround times critical care demands.
The pre-release publication in New England Journal of Medicine details our optimized workflow—from rapid sample processing through clinical interpretation—that enabled same-day genomic diagnosis for critically ill patients. These results demonstrate the potential of ultra-rapid whole genome sequencing to bring same-day genomic insights closer to frontline care.
